Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyse the impact of training and motivation on employee performance. This descriptive research uses quantitative methods through surveys and data collection with a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1 to 5. Samples were obtained by Slovin formula as many as 226 samples from 520 populations of  PT. Cheil Jedang Indonesia with purposive sampling technique. Data processing is performed using SEM AMOS 24 software. The results of this study are 1) training has a significant effect on employee competence, 2) training has a significant effect on employee performance, 3) work motivation has a significant effect on employee competence, 4) work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance, 5) employee competence has a significant effect on  employee performance.
